Paola Balderas-Alonso

I am Paola. I have had much ambition as far as I can remember; my dream when I was younger was to be an Immigration and Criminal Defense Lawyer and I continue to work towards that. I'm a FL born and raised resident and a 2024 graduate for Lincoln Park Academy with a 4.0+ GPA. I became a commissioned Notary public and Realtor while still in my senior year of high school and I will always say that's a huge accomplishment! I'm also a licensed Insurance agent and currently undergoing training to be a marketplace agent and also currently studying to be a paralegal. After I finish my A.S I hope to transfer to a university to pursue a degree in political science and pre-law (dual major). While it's a very big dream, it would be fun to say that I'm the governor. I've been working in these industries since I was 16 so while I am young, I actually have 3 years of experience (shocking)! Although I have all these accomplishments, I don't consider them to be my biggest. My biggest accomplishment is being the daughter of two immigrants who accomplished everything and beyond in a country where they didn't know anything. I could not be prouder or more grateful to my parents for giving me such a privileged life and allowing me to pursue anything I put my mind to. I think growing up in such a diverse community is what truly aspires me to grow as my main motivation is to gain more knowledge to help those out in my community who don't understand, who can't afford an expensive fee, or simply knowing I have the knowledge to help others just by knowing a different language!
